About the Installation:
For Kate Bae and Anne Muntges, their interest in the natural world merges with their use of material in order to create an unnatural environment worth exploring. From creating hanging flowers using exclusively acrylic paint, to re-imagining inhabited spaces through the perspective of drawn lines, these two artists prove that there is no singular way to define indoor or outdoor spaces. This installation will bring paint into focus through the primary means of sculpture; drawn lines and paint will become sculpture, both elements working together to create full cohesion.
